Documentary Architectural Photographs

My interest in documentary architectural photography began when I photographed the renovation of a Coca-Cola bottling factory to the present day Pool Art Center at Drury University in Springfield, Missouri. The photographs were taken from December of 2002 to December of 2003 and were shot with a 4x5 camera in both color and black and white negatives. The work is about transformation and re-using architectural spaces rather than demolishing them to produce a new structure. The work is also about the ever changing city scape, as history can become lost in the future. Since then, my current project is photographing the Tindle Mills Feed Company as it becomes part of the Drury University campus.
